Happy 4th of July!

 This gorgeous girl is showing off her patriotic side in style!  She is wearing the original MERCEDES Shape and full look from *SydSations* which was designed by Sydney Knelstrom, using the Paige skin in cocoa from FILTHY. The pose used in the above photo is another fantastic one by Rogan Diesel of Diesel Works, from the Female CLOVER pose package.

This wonderfully "Americana"- Styled outfit is called "Gabby" and is from Crickets. It was designed by Shannel Dulce and includes everything pictured in the photo: jeans, top, tattoo, jewelry and shoes! The railing shown above is also from Diesel Works. It is a complete pose prop which includes 15 unique poses.

If This is 'Roughing It'... I Want S'more!

 So, I picked up this awesome camping set during the Sand & Sun Hunt, and decided to invite a couple of friends on an outdoor adventure! We set up the tent, dragged out the sleeping bags, built a nice cozy campfire and busted out the ingredients for a camp classic: SMORES! All of the props pictured in this photo are from Rodeo Rideable Horses & Animals (S&SH #091), owned by Ruby Vandyke. The tent, cooler, and sleeping bags are all color change via a menu option.

 Maybe I failed to consider just how 'posh' my friends are. I don't think they were really ready for this adventure. In this snapshot, they are sitting on the cooler looking a little lost. Oh well! At least they look great doing it! Both of these comfortable yet stylish outfits they are wearing were also S&SH finds (#015), this time from b[ELLE]issima! by Elle74 Zaftig. The Joelle top and denim shorts have quickly made their way into my favourite outfits folder! I just love the coordinating sneakers (see photo 1). I suppose since my friend insisted that she wasn't properly dressed without her jewelry, that I should tell you about her earrings! Many thanks to Jon Ree of Mustang Trading Post for contributing these gorgeous, delicately crafted South Padre Hoop Earrings to the Sand and Sun Hunt as well (#059).

 Ahhh, now we're getting to the good part.. ME! Here my friend, Nich and I are testing out the comfort factor of our new sleeping bags while sporting an 'outdoorsy' look thanks to these classic "his and hers' Summer Camo outfits by Ivy Burner, courtesy of Sassy! (S&SH #001). Also shown in the zoomed in portions of the above photo, are Nich's smashing new Surfer Tattoo from Veiled Tattoo -- designed by ludwigfismer Magic (S&SH #019), and my lovely Beach Bracelet from Whittentons (S&SH #058).

Oh! As you can see it didn't take US long to find something to do! *blushes* Thanks to this uniquely animated pose from :m:ess Animations (S&SH #014), the evenings weren't nearly as chilly! Hey, while my feet are up in the air, check out these great sandals designed by Renee Harvy of Duh! (S&SH #021). I should also mention that my amorous partner, who so graciously donated his body heat, is wearing the oh-so-sexy, Enrique Shape and complete Styling Card look put together by Sophia Rossen of Sophistishapes.

Crashing, Cabana Style

 Whew! There is nothing better after a night out on the town than coming in, kicking off those sexy (but torturous) shoes, and crashing somewhere comfy! What better place to get in some 'down' time than this cozy, 'shabby-chic' cabana designed by IzzieBellah Hinterland of BoatHouse. With plenty of room for two, and a variety of poses, relaxing is made easier than ever!

Oh! Since I mentioned my night out on the town, let me also tell you about the outfit I wore! Designed by Kucinta Moody, these form fitting distressed pants certainly flatter the 'ass'ets; and the bright pink cropped top is definitely a stylish way to draw some attention. Only the adorable floral brooch, also by Kucinta, adds just a touch of innocence to keep this outfit from being 100% naughty!

Both the cabana and the outfit can be picked up for a limited time during the Sand & Sun Hunt! Touch one of the signs in either location to receive the Hunter information pack and the landmark to the starting point at Atherstone Mall.

Get Your Groove On!

 Get your groove on with these fun and playful poses by Rogan Diesel of Diesel Works! The newly released set is called Groove Female Poses and contains eleven unique poses which can be used individually or in the posing stand. The first two poses in the set are shown here: Diesel Works Groove 1 (below) and Diesel Works Groove 2 (above). I had so much fun playing with these animations! You can guarantee that you will be seeing more of my photos using Rogan's creations in the future.

 

If you haven't visited Culture Shock 2011 on the Project Donate SIM yet, you definitely need to find your way there before the event draws to a close on May 22nd. Each participating store has vendors which donate 50% or more of sales to the Doctors Without Borders organization, and there are some great designers involved! Don't let the lag shock you. Take off all scripted items, shoes and other unnecessary attachments, anything that's not absolutely necessary to prevent you violating the SIM's PG rating, and drop your draw distance to 88m or less. Shopping will take some time and patience, but it's totally worth it!
